I am a fired front-line nurse. I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Matt Taylor with on the NHS100K. NHS100k, based out of the UK, is “an initiative set up in November 2021 by a group of ambulance workers who support freedom of choice and reject vaccine mandates.”
I got to tell my professional journey working on a COVID unit in one of the hardest hit hospitals in NJ to being a fired front line nurse for refusing the vaccine. Being on a podcast was a new experience for me. Outside of my family I have never told this whole story to the public before.
What made me different than other front line workers? I had a professional background in the health freedom movement and I was pregnant.

“I didn’t know when I had my first COVID patient, but after the first month, I found out I was pregnant.”
“I had a weird incident when I was a kid where I was a coward. I was always kind of shameful, I didn’t talk about it for a long time. I was like, this (working the COVID unit) is going to be one of those moments in my life where if I don’t stick up and do what Im suppose to do, Im going to regret it forever.”
“My ass got up and went to work and silently cried in the car.”

“Our campaign [NHS100K] successfully resulted in a U-turn with vaccine mandates being revoked on the 15th March 2022. Our team still continue to focus on preventing future mandates from occurring in other areas or ever again. We continue to tackle discrimination in the workplace that occurred during this time that resulted in a huge increase in mental health and wellbeing having an impact on both employees work and home life. We continue to support many other campaigns who are fighting mask mandates along with supporting the vaccine injured and bereaved which is a subject very important to us.” -NHS100K
